Job Description

• Conducts corporate research using internet and other research tools • Enters and updates data in the firm’s conflicts database • Analyzes information provided with new matter requests for compliance with firm policies • Reviews conflict of interest reports for new firm matters • Assists with resolution strategies and outreach to impacted attorneys • Reviews engagement letters for new clients • Reviews new matter scope communications • Assists Conflicts Director, Manager and Assistant Manager with the training of new Conflicts Information Specialists • Assists with issues associated with special projects such as bankruptcies • Participates in testing and development activities associated with the Conflicts Department

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Minimum of two (2) years of conflicts law firm experience or experience in a practice support or legal assistant capacity
Basic knowledge of conflicts of interest issues
High level of knowledge and ability related to technical systems associated with law firm new business intake
Knowledge of InTapp preferred
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with attorneys and staff
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment
High level of knowledge of internet research
Demonstrated ability to master new technology applications
Advanced skill in operating standard office equipment, including desktop computers, printers, copiers, and telephones
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Word and Excel.
