• Own the company’s data strategy and roadmap, aligned to business priorities • Lead, mentor, and develop an existing team of data engineers • Build and evolve the data platform, including ingestion pipelines, data models, and analytics foundations • Define canonical data models, metrics, and shared business definitions • Establish standards for data quality, reliability, and monitoring • Partner with Product and Engineering to embed data into product and operational workflows • Enable analytics and reporting for stakeholders across the business • Define governance practices for data access, usage, and consistency • Identify and mitigate data-related risk as scale and complexity increase
