This role involves performing advanced technical work in developing reimbursement rates and administering financial programs for Medicaid and other programs, requiring considerable initiative and independent judgment. Key duties include designing cost surveys, conducting complex data analysis to determine payment rates, and developing policy guidelines and agency rules.

This role provides advanced administrative and technical support to the Facilities Planning and Leasing (FPL) team, focusing heavily on supporting leasing processes, including preparing, reviewing, and editing contracts, specifications, and related business documents. The assistant is also responsible for customer service regarding agency leasing policies, processing purchase requisitions, and maintaining lease records in the CAFM system.

This role involves acting as the HHSC representative for all statewide office and warehouse contract leasing actions with the Texas Facilities Commission, performing advanced contract management including evaluating lease data, negotiating terms, and ensuring accurate entry into the CAFM system. Essential functions include processing facility requests, serving as a consulting liaison between various departments and lessors, maintaining CAFM data integrity, and providing technical support on leasing compliance and space usage standards.

The Social Worker III supports individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and/or spinal cord injury (SCI) by collecting information, developing person-centered rehabilitation plans, and coordinating necessary goods and services. Responsibilities also include providing case management, continuous reassessment, discharge planning, and counseling to individuals and their families.

Inspectors monitor licensed and registered child-care facilities, documenting compliance or noncompliance, and investigating complaints and allegations of minimum standards violations in a timely manner.
