Role Description

This role involves creating engaging video content for developers, focusing on tutorials, demos, and educational material.

• Scripting, presenting, and editing video content for a developer audience
• Originating your own content ideas and adapting existing content into a video form
• Talking to PostHog product engineers about their work as inspiration for videos
• Educating developers on the latest trends (e.g. new tools, best practices, using AI)
• Teaching developers how they can use PostHog to achieve their goals
• Owning all the creative elements of your videos (e.g. titles, thumbnails, descriptions)
• Analyzing video and channel performance to understand what works and why

Qualifications

• Strong engineering skills, including the ability to ship full stack apps
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and popular frontend frameworks
• Good writing and presentation skills
• Enjoyment in presenting and solid writing ability to create scripts
• Active participation in developer communities

Requirements

• Be an early adopter of new tools, models, and frameworks
• Competent with video editing tools
• Ability to shoot videos from home
