Role Description
We're looking for a Product Manager - Payments to own and scale our Fiat payments infrastructure, including ACH and card rails, bank integrations, international payment connectivity, and the risk and fraud tooling that underpins the entire fiat stack. You will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our core payments infrastructure, working at the intersection of product, engineering, compliance, finance, and operations.
You will be responsible for ensuring our payment systems are reliable, scalable, and optimized for performance across geographies. This is a high-impact role where you will help shape the financial backbone of our platform, enabling seamless money movement and supporting global expansion.
This is a fully remote position, strongly preferred to be in a timezone +/- 3 hours of east coast time (US).
Key Responsibilities
- Help define, prioritize and most importantly execute on the product roadmap based on market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives.
- Participate in all stages of the product life cycle, from conception through launch, and ensure continuous delivery of valuable solutions to our customers.
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with Zero Hash's goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Gather and analyze customer/product feedback to inform product decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies.
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Ensure alignment and effective communication across all teams.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to drive product development.
- Set and track key performance metrics to measure product success.
- Write technical documentation, both internally and externally-facing.
- Analyze product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement data-driven decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in Product Management.
- Strong background with building products, API's, and tooling for an ACH program.
- Strong background in payments and fx, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in these sectors.
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineering teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, concise, and actionable tasks.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and tools, particularly Jira.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – you can write SQL queries and analyze data effectively.
- Experience with testing/integrating to/interpreting APIs.
Preferred
- Experience in building crypto or stablecoins products.
- Prior experience in a software engineering or sales engineering-like role.
- Experience with building consumer-facing fintech applications.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
