Job Description
Role Description
The Vice President, People & Organization is a strategic and people-centered leader, responsible for designing, executing, and continuously evolving the company’s human resources strategy that scales effectively with business growth.
- Partners closely with executive leadership to ensure alignment of human capital, culture, and leadership capabilities with the company’s purpose, values, and long-term business objectives.
- Develops people-related programs and processes to build a high-performing, inclusive, and compliant organization across North America and in other identified growth markets internationally.
- Leads the design and execution of a roadmap of strategies that attract, motivate, and retain a diverse team of talent.
- Supports associate well-being and a best-in-class associate experience.
- Location-flexible role with a strong preference for candidates within 2 hours commuting distance of strategic hubs: Portland, OR; Northlake, TX; Harrisburg, PA.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent related work experience.
- Senior executive experience partnering with leadership in a complex organization to drive people strategy.
- Proven ability to influence, advise, and constructively challenge senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong working knowledge of functional HR areas.
- Experience in succession planning, talent development, and building inclusive, high-performing teams.
- Strong experience in risk mitigation and managing sensitive associate relations issues.
- Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and related software and HR Information Systems.
Requirements
- Masters degree in related field (preferred).
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification (preferred).
- Experience in pharmaceutical, technology, vet tech, fulfillment & distribution industries (preferred).
- Experience in a global dynamic organization, specifically within the Mars ecosystem (preferred).
- Experience with transition through mergers and acquisitions (preferred).
- Proficiency with Workday (preferred).

Pay Range
Pay range (US based applicants): $218,592 - $273,240 (annualized) + annual bonus eligible.
