Job Description
Role Description
The Senior Director of LoJack Product will be responsible for overseeing reorders, account management, and channel partner relationships. This role will require a strategic thinker with extensive knowledge of the automotive sector and transactional experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and have the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership teams (ELT) and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall product strategy for LoJack, aligning with the company’s vision and goals. Lead initiatives to drive product growth and market penetration.
- Account Management: Oversee key customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for additional sales.
- Channel Partner Management: Establish and manage relationships with channel partners, ensuring effective collaboration and support. Develop programs and incentives to drive partner engagement and sales performance.
- Reorder Oversight: Monitor inventory levels and reorder processes to ensure product availability and timely delivery. Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to optimize reorder strategies.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities. Utilize insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and promotional strategies.
- Travel Requirements: This role requires significant travel to meet with clients, partners, and internal teams, ensuring active engagement and visibility in key markets.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to the ELT on product performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives. Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, account management, or business development within the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of managing complex accounts and driving sales growth through channel partners.
- Strong understanding of transactional sales processes and inventory management.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly to executive leadership.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50% of the time).
