Job Description
Role Description
The Contract Manager plays a vital leadership role in managing contract lifecycle execution, consultant onboarding, compliance monitoring, and operational systems. This position is instrumental in ensuring legal alignment, process excellence, and the efficient scaling of our consultant workforce. The Manager will work cross-functionally to maintain contractual integrity, enhance onboarding procedures, oversee key technology platforms, and drive operational improvements across the organization.
The expected salary range for this position is $60,000–$80,000. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and internal equity.
Key Responsibilities

Contracts & Risk Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate: Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Staffing Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Amendments and renewals
- Redline contracts and lead negotiations with client procurement/legal teams
- Ensure alignment between contractual terms and operational capabilities

Contract Administration
- Lead Client Contracts Operations, oversee and continuously improve all aspects of contract management to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals
- Review, negotiate, redline, and execute client, vendor, and consultant/employee agreements
- Maintain contract repository and tracking system, risks, fees, and requirements
- Oversee proprietary contract templates and ensure ongoing legal and regulatory compliance
- Monitor contract performance and the fulfillment of deliverables, reporting, milestones, and audit compliance
- Ensure all client and vendor contracts, consultant onboarding documents, and processes comply with legal requirements, internal policies, and industry standards; proactively manage risk and recommend enhancements
- Support audits and due diligence requests
- Respond to client audits and lead necessary internal process changes

IT Consultant Onboarding
- Manage consultant onboarding and offboarding in US & International workflows in alignment with international, federal, state, local, and client requirements
- Administer immigration compliance processes, including I-9/E-Verify and H-1B sponsorship programs
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance in line with contractual obligations

Systems & Process Administration
- Act as Bullhorn System Administrator, responsible for corporate training and ongoing support
- Serve as Site Collection Administrator for SharePoint and lead internal SharePoint training initiatives
- Oversee SterlingONE platform as primary administrator and vendor liaison

Process Optimization and Innovation
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements, automation tools, and best practices that enhance scalability, accuracy, and speed of operations

Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize analytics to monitor performance metrics, generate actionable insights, and deliver regular reporting to leadership on operational health, trends, and opportunities
- Prepare additional ad hoc reports for executives

System and Tool Management
- Evaluate, implement, and manage technologies and tools that support contract administration, e-signature workflows, compliance tracking, and onboarding documentation
- Oversee and further develop practices in the related areas of corporate insurance

Internal Partnership
- Partner with Sales on Client Contracts, negotiations, and strategies and risk exposure
- Engage with Recruiting/Operations to ensure consultant compliance documentation
- Partner with HR on consultant agreements, labor laws and policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field (JD preferred but not required)
- 5+ years of contract management experience
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional systems, vendor relationships, and regulatory compliance
- Experience in IT consulting, professional services, or staffing industry strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of: Time & Materials (T&M) contracts, SOW-based project engagements, Staffing markups and bill rate structures
- Excellent negotiation and redlining skills
- High attention to detail and risk awareness
- Knowledge of immigration law and employment verification procedures
- Experience negotiating with large enterprise procurement teams
- Familiarity with VMS/MSP environments
- Proficiency in Bullhorn, SharePoint, and onboarding platforms such as SterlingONE
- Strong teamwork and collaboration
