Role Description

We’re hiring an Accounting Manager to serve as the connective tissue between Finance, Business Operations, and our GTM teams (Sales, Customer Success, RevOps). This role supports critical cross-functional operational initiatives across the company. You will ensure our financial processes scale responsibly while supporting internal compliance, vendor management, and operational rigor. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building process from the ground up, and is energized by supporting multiple functions in a scaling SaaS environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Billing, Accounts & Revenue Management
    • Own invoicing accuracy and timeliness across customer accounts.
    • Manage billing schedules, multi-year enterprise agreements, and renewal timing.
    • Partner with Customer Success on account-level financial questions and billing escalations.
    • Monitor AR aging and collaborate with GTM on collections strategy.
    • Support revenue recognition (ASC 606) and monthly close activities related to revenue and deferred revenue.
    • Maintain documentation to ensure audit readiness.
  • Business Operations Support
    • Partner with InfoSec stakeholders to support compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC 2, data security processes).
    • Track vendor compliance documentation and security questionnaires.
    • Support internal policy documentation and process audits.
    • Assist with vendor reviews and procurement processes with a security and financial lens.
    • Maintain organized documentation for audits and customer security reviews.
    • Manage vendor contracts, renewals, and spend tracking.
    • Maintain visibility into software subscriptions and cost optimization opportunities.
    • Ensure vendor agreements align with security, compliance, and financial standards.
  • Process & Systems Improvement
    • Improve quote-to-cash workflows in partnership with RevOps.
    • Identify automation opportunities across billing, procurement, and reporting processes.
    • Document and refine cross-functional operational workflows.
    • Support system optimization across CRM, billing platforms, ERP, HRIS, and compliance tools.
    • Create scalable processes that reduce manual work and mitigate risk.

Qualifications

  • 4–7+ years in Finance, Business Operations, Accounting, or Revenue Operations.
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS environment strongly preferred, not a must if candidate has Big 4 experience.
  • Exposure to revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
  • Experience supporting compliance initiatives (SOC 2 or similar) is a plus, but not a must.
  • Experience partnering with GTM and People teams in a cross-functional capacity.
