Role Description

Hitachi Solutions is looking for a high-impact Solution Sales Professional (SSP) to lead the next frontier of our AI growth: in industry focused Data & AI solutions.

  • Lead strategic conversations with enterprise clients, uncovering high-value opportunities where AI-driven solutions can transform operations, accelerate decisions, and drive measurable ROI.
  • Partner closely with advisory and architecture teams to shape early-stage opportunities and position customer strategic roadmap and transformation engagements.
  • Own and grow a regional or vertical book of business, building pipeline from the ground up through a combination of executive relationships, partner co-sell motions, and targeted demand generation.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Microsoft solution area, including AI Business solutions, Data and Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML, security, and Modern development solutions.
  • Bring deep, firsthand knowledge of at least one, and ideally two or more, of the following industries: Discrete or Process Manufacturing, Health & Life Sciences, Consumer Packaged Goods, Insurance, Retail, or Construction.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and executive roundtables by delivering compelling presentations that position our capabilities at the intersection of industry expertise and AI innovation.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in Technical Sales or Solution Architecture and Professional Services.
  • Advanced understanding of Azure AI Services and Data Platforms.
  • Proven expertise in one or more of the following industries: Discrete or Process Manufacturing, Health & Life Sciences, Consumer Packaged Goods, Insurance, Retail, or Construction.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a complex, consultative selling environment.
