Role Description
This role involves supporting the office remotely as a Cash Management/Reconciliation Analyst.
- Independently assists management with problem resolution and reporting
- Provides complex accounting activities related to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger
- Addresses complex issues, troubleshoots and resolves problems
- Ability to train other areas and set up Upay accounts
- Functions as a lead to other members on the team
- Reconcile high-volume cash clearing and refund clearing general ledger accounts
- Maintain Cash Tracking updates, including new bank accounts and journal details
- Support onboarding of newly acquired offices, including UPAY setup and banking changes
- Balance bank files with Cash Tracking entries
- Troubleshoot automated process issues and work with IT to resolve system errors
- Test updates and enhancements in UPAY, Cash Tracking, ReconNet, and billing systems
- Set up new UPAY accounts and request new merchant numbers for credit card processing
- Monitor internal controls and provide guidance to team members
- Work with other accounting groups to resolve complex reconciliation issues
- Ensure reconciling items are cleared within required policy timelines
- Recommend improvements to reconciliation and automation processes
- Serve as a lead resource and support for co-workers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, Finance, Business or other business-related field and 2 years' experience in this field
- High school graduate or equivalent and 3 years' experience in Accounting, Finance, Business or another business-related field
- HealthCare, Accounting and/or Reconciliation experience preferred
- 2 years of Business, Financial, or Accounts Receivable experience required
