The Opportunity We are hiring a Vendor & Partner Network Manager to own and scale our national subcontractor and 1099 contractor ecosystem supporting field service and project-based deployments. This is a high-impact role responsible for: Expanding and optimizing our contractor network Driving rate strategy and margin awareness Ensuring partner capacity aligns with demand Improving partner quality, readiness, and performance Supporting national growth initiatives You will work directly with Field Operations, Workforce Management, Quality, PMO, and executive leadership to translate go-to-market strategy into a scalable, high-performing labor network. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in distributed workforce environments and enjoys building systems that drive growth, service excellence, and profitability.   What You’ll Own 1️. Build & Scale the Partner Network Develop and execute sourcing strategies to grow and strengthen our national subcontractor ecosystem Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified field service partners across multiple geographies Expand coverage and capabilities to support new markets and service lines Lead partner onboarding, compliance readiness, and activation planning 2️. Optimize Cost, Capacity & Margin Manage rate intelligence, market benchmarking, and standardized rate cards Partner with leadership to align labor supply with forecasted demand Provide data-driven recommendations on partner utilization and expansion Influence margin performance through strategic sourcing decisions 3️. Drive Performance & Operational Excellence Monitor partner performance, certifications, service coverage, and compliance Deliver capacity and sourcing insights to executive and operational stakeholders Improve sourcing workflows, tools, dashboards, and reporting Identify process gaps and implement scalable improvements 4️. Lead & Develop Grow and mentor a small team of sourcing coordinators Conduct quarterly development conversations Support operational oversight including timecards and approvals What Success Looks Like in 12 Months Increased partner coverage in key growth markets Improved labor readiness and reduced fulfillment gaps Standardized and optimized rate structures Clear visibility into partner capacity and performance metrics Strong cross-functional collaboration with Field Operations and PMO QualificationsWhat You Bring 5+ years of experience in vendor management, subcontractor management, strategic sourcing, workforce management, staffing, or field operations Experience managing distributed contractor or subcontractor networks Strong financial acumen (rate analysis, cost control, margin awareness) Data-driven decision-making and reporting expertise Experience supporting multi-site or project-based service environments Proven ability to operate independently and influence across functions Preferred Experience IT field services, low-voltage, structured cabling, security systems, telecom, facilities, or similar distributed service models Experience with workforce management platforms, ServiceNow FSM, or labor marketplaces Exposure to national rollouts or last-mile service operations Work Environment Remote or hybrid (based on location) Limited travel for partner meetings or strategic initiatives Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $90,000–$100,000 401(k) with employer match and profit sharing Medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Voluntary benefits including pet insurance, identity protection, and more Why This Role Matters Telaid’s ability to deliver exceptional field service at scale depends on a strong, reliable partner ecosystem.
