Role Description

This role involves supporting the organization’s data and analytics initiatives by helping transform raw data into actionable insights.

• Build or enhance dashboards
• Write SQL queries
• Review cloud configurations
• Validate data accuracy
• Analyze performance metrics across various business functions

You will gain hands-on experience working with reporting tools and datasets while contributing to projects that improve visibility into key performance indicators and support data-driven decision-making.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist with developing, maintaining, and optimizing dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Write and refine SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources
• Support data validation, cleansing, and documentation of reporting logic and KPI definitions
• Analyze trends and performance metrics to identify insights and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver accurate, timely analytics

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of SQL and data analysis concepts
• Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation) and exposure to BI tools such as Power BI is preferred
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to interpret data trends
• Student must be entering sophomore year or higher by the start of the internship
• Currently enrolled at an accredited college/university pursuing a degree related to the internship
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and navigate various software systems
• Effective communication skills and comfort working with multiple levels of the organization
• Positive, proactive, “can-do” attitude
