Role Description

This role will engage in hands-on production support for the Power Billing application for a wholesale energy company.

• Strong SME on Oracle Utilities billing component v1.6.x
• Comfortable with reading and debugging customization code written in Rules Lang
• Able to develop enhancements to existing functionality
• Moderate to high exposure to retail or wholesale Utility energy billing
• Functional knowledge of major bill determinants

Qualifications

• Oracle Utilities Billing Component v1.6.x (Expert)
• SQL and PL/SQL programming (Expert)
• Pro*C programming (Advanced)
• MDM (Meter Data Management) using ITRON IEE client (Expert)
• 6+ years of technical support role in retail or wholesale power billing
• Experience to liaison with business stakeholders to gather and execute requirements
• Experience with DOS scripts and batch processing
• Moderate experience with Access VBA macros
• Fluent spoken and written communication skills
• Effective team collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and willingness to adhere to rules and standards
• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations surrounding financial transactions and reporting

Requirements

• Moderate experience with Actuate eReport designer
• Proficiency with Perl and/or Power Shell scripting

Compensation

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:

$91,300 — $184,900 USD
