Role Description

This role involves overseeing multi-channel campaigns, events, and earned media efforts to raise awareness of Leading Educators' services and impact.

  • Translate organizational priorities into cohesive external campaigns and visibility strategies.
  • Lead event production and promotion.
  • Manage media relations efforts.
  • Develop campaign strategy across email and digital channels.
  • Ensure consistent and compelling messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints.
  • Work cross-functionally with Program, Innovation, Partnerships, and Development teams.
  • Manage multiple initiatives concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate exceptional storytelling acumen—both written and visual.

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of professional experience in a high-performing organization, preferably in a nonprofit.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing communications strategies.
  • Strong track record as an implementer managing multiple key initiatives concurrently.
  • Proven ability to manage by influence and build relationships across organizational boundaries.
  • Exceptional storytelling acumen—written, verbal, and visual.
  • Experience with event production, media relations, or campaign management.
  • High energy, maturity, and leadership.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong collaborative style with a commitment to working with diverse constituencies.
  • Creativity and flexibility in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional integrity and commitment to Leading Educators' core values.
  • AI Fluency at the Practitioner level.
  • Ability to travel moderately for organizational retreats and programming.
  • Experience working in education (a plus).

Requirements

  • Moderate travel required for organizational retreats, programming, and professional development.
  • Work from a home office located anywhere within the U.S.

  • Base salary range of $87,243 to $111,037 per year, with a standard starting salary of $99,140.
