Role Description
As a Safety Officer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Providing clinical expertise to product development teams, ensuring safe and effective use of dental medical devices through sound clinical evaluation and judgment.
- Leading risk assessments and benefit-risk analyses for new and existing products, including safety reviews, literature evaluations, and post-market surveillance activities.
- Developing and maintaining clinical documentation for NPI and legacy products such as guidelines, clinical state of the art, clinical development plans, clinical equivalence, global safety reports and Post Market Clinical Follow-up plans and reports, while supporting regulatory compliance.
- Collaborating across teams to review clinical data to support clinical claims and respond to safety or usage inquiries, ensuring accurate and transparent communication to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Licensed or certified Dental Professional
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent scientific degree, or comparable qualified education.
- Three (3) years’ of dental experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Three (3) years’ experience in Regulatory and/or Quality roles.
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
- Strong understanding of global regulatory requirements for medical devices.
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven strength in clinical and medical writing.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint) with strong analytical skills.
