Role Description
This role involves leading the design strategy for high-impact growth initiatives at QuillBot.
- Lead end-to-end design strategy for high-impact growth initiatives, partnering closely with product, engineering, data, research, and design leadership.
- Set the vision for how growth principles shape QuillBot’s next-generation creative experience.
- Orchestrate cross-functional experimentation, ensuring hypotheses are well-formed and designs are testable.
- Drive cross-product cohesion, collaborating with other designers to ensure integration across tools.
- Evolve and elevate the design system to support growth at scale.
- Champion a holistic understanding of user behavior through quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Cultivate a culture of design and experimentation excellence, leading critiques and mentoring designers.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products.
- A portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, exceptional craft, and experimentation leadership.
- Deep expertise in scaling and extending design systems.
- Operates with high autonomy and clarity, navigating ambiguity with confidence.
- Exemplary interaction and visual design capabilities.
- Advanced prototyping skills.
- Strong written communication and narrative skills.
- Experience shaping or designing for AI-powered tools.
- Proven growth mindset, comfortable in a metrics-driven environment.

- Front-end engineering skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in building growth pipelines or experimentation frameworks.
