Job Description
Role Description
This mid-career role is responsible for design, development, testing, and deployment of significant portions of an AVEVA MES project at the direction of the Technical Lead and Project manager.
- Creates design documentation, working with a UI/UX Designer, consultant, and customers.
- Develops functionality to specifications in an efficient manner.
- Ensures quality of solution through testing and code reviews.
- Participates in deployment and startup activities, including on-site work to ensure user adoption.
- Mentors younger team members as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with implementation and upgrades on AVEVA MES.
- Exposure to MOM technologies including automated data collection, historian applications, visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing, SCADA, automated decision control, workflow, and database applications.
- Experience in MES implementations for at least 3 to 4 MES programs; experience in full life cycle preferred.
- Exposure to Shopfloor integration and Enterprise Integration.
- Experience communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience and willingness to mentor junior engineers.
