Job Description

Expat Tax Engagement Specialist (Commission-Only / Seasonal) The Opportunity Bright!Tax is expanding its engagement team for the 2026 peak season. We are looking for a high-output Technical Closer to sit alongside our current team. This is a 100% commission-only seasonal role with a clear, performance-based pipeline into a permanent full-time position (with base salary). The Reality We provide the leads; you provide the close. You will manage a high-volume pipeline of inbound expat leads. Your success is measured by Win Rate and Contract Value . You will be benchmarked against our internal team—we use real-time data to drive lead distribution to our top performers. Role Details Status: Seasonal (Peak Season, Feb-June), Commission-Only. Location: Remote (EST Hours Required). Tools: Google Meet, HubSpot, Google Workspace. Target OTE: $20k – $40k+ (3-4 month window). What You’ll Do Consult: Lead video and phone consultations via Google Meet, projecting immediate authority. Scope: Diagnose complex U.S. expat tax situations (1040, 2555, 1116, FBAR, 5471) and quote fees accurately on the fly. Convert: Move warm leads to signed engagement letters. Compete: Maintain a high conversion rate to earn priority in the lead rotation. Who You Are Requirements Experience: 3+ years of heavy U.S. tax experience (Expat focus preferred). Credentials: Active CPA or EA license is Strongly Preferred . Availability: Must be available to take calls during US Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours. Tech Savvy: Fluidity in HubSpot and virtual meeting environments. Growth Path Phase 1 (Seasonal): Commission-only. Prove your conversion metrics and technical accuracy. Phase 2 (Full-Time): Top performers will be invited to a permanent role featuring a stable base salary, incentive bonuses, and leadership opportunities.
