Job Description

The Senior Director for Regional Accounts is accountable for driving access at Regional Accounts and their associated benefits decision teams, as well as partnering with enterprise partners to integrate the customer-facing approach with these key customers. This role is based remotely and does not have direct reports. Maintain or grow opt-in (both traditional and alternative) with critical regional accounts in collaboration with Lilly enterprise partners. Accounts owned by the Senior Director will include the largest by employee population in their respective geography. Work with various directors and sales leaders to create exceptional experiences and an integrated front for these customers. Understand the challenges and opportunities for these customers and provide answers that improve patient access. Build deep expertise in employer health benefits, medications, and the value story. Prepare for and execute exceptional launches as Lilly’s product portfolio continues to grow. Establish/build upon existing relationships with key stakeholders while maximizing all internal Lilly resources. Meet or exceed key measures of success, including key metrics, KPIs, and overall execution goals. Be thoughtful about the broader enterprise as goals within the employer workstream are achieved. Live a culture of compliance in the organization, ensuring all activities reflect Lilly Core Values.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years of employee benefit consulting, in-house employer benefits management, account management or B2B selling, or related experiences.
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Ability to create structure and work in white space.
  • Strength in working cross-functionally.
  • Detailed knowledge of the healthcare system, including key legal/regulatory policies surrounding market access.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence.
  • Demonstrated selling, documenting, and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience leveraging data to drive differentiation.
  • Demonstrated prior experience with establishing and consistently meeting or exceeding business development and maintenance targets.
  • Demonstrated understanding of account management and selling with employers, health systems, payers, or other business partners.
  • Inherent drive to solve challenging problems while deepening current and growing new relationships.
