Job Description
This role involves estimating and assisting with the interdependence between the customer and the regional sales managers. Responsibilities include:
Communication and coordination of information leading to estimates and drafting of quotes
Maintaining customer database by inputting customer profiles, quotes/bids, and contact information
Preparing and distributing monthly follow-up reports
Updating manager by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily bid requests
Contacting regional sales managers to resolve omissions in quote requests
Setting up spreadsheets of quotes as directed
Identifying line item details for pricing analysis
Updating job knowledge through educational opportunities and training
Completing related results to accomplish department and organization mission
Creating and developing goals for specific job functions
Engaging and completing assignments as directed
Performing any other duties as assigned by the manager
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years progressive sales admin experience required, preferably in a customer service driven company
- Strong work ethic, loyal, trustworthy, honest, team player
- Proven ability to multi-task and maintain regular contact with executives, managers, and employees
- Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of personality types
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Problem solving skills
- College degree preferred
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job
