Job Description
• Support the development and execution of Kraken’s investor relations strategy aligned with growth objectives and public-market readiness.
• Act as a key point of contact for the investment community, including institutional investors, analysts, and investment banks, in partnership with senior leadership.
• Partner closely with the CFO and finance team to craft and deliver financial messaging, earnings materials, investor presentations, and analyst day content.
• Lead preparation of core investor communications: quarterly earnings materials, annual reports, press releases, and disclosure documents in coordination with finance and legal teams.
• Monitor market trends, peer performance, analyst models, investor sentiment, and shareholder base composition; synthesize insights into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
• Build and maintain investor databases, targeting frameworks, engagement tracking systems, and analytics dashboards.
• Support and help lead proactive investor outreach efforts including conferences, roadshows, non-deal roadshows, and one-on-one meetings.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of disclosures in alignment with SEC and stock-exchange requirements, partnering closely with legal and compliance.
• Collaborate with communications, legal, and finance teams to maintain aligned, credible, and cohesive external messaging.
• Provide structured reporting to leadership on investor engagement, market perception, and performance tracking.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, or capital markets
- Strong understanding of equity capital markets, shareholder dynamics, analyst coverage, valuation drivers, and public-market mechanics
- Solid financial acumen with fluency in financial statements, KPIs, modeling fundamentals, and the ability to communicate complex metrics clearly and concisely
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing investor-facing decks, earnings scripts, Q&A materials, and external communications
- Experience supporting investor communication plans and executing deliverables during periods of growth, transformation, or public-market transition
- Ability to build relationships with analysts, investors, and capital markets participants, or quickly establish credibility with them
- Professional presence and confidence supporting high-visibility forums such as earnings calls, investor conferences, and board reporting
- Working knowledge of regulatory disclosure requirements, SEC and stock-exchange standards, and IR best practices
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills across finance, legal, communications, and external advisors
