Job Description
• Generate >$7M annually in service and project business, paired with service agreements, through strategic and collaborative selling.
• Develop and execute annual strategic account plans, including growth targets and performance reviews.
• Proactive and ongoing communication with customers to understand their needs and review existing and new services
• Navigate complex organizations to build champions and increase internal visibility.
• Develop trusted relationships across customer organizations, embedding Smart Care into their daily decision-making.
• Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline, delivering monthly and annual sales forecasts.
• Collaborate with Smart Care Operations and Customer Excellence to ensure seamless execution, adherence to customer requirements and service-level agreements.
• Resolve customer issues through cross-functional coordination and continuous process improvement.
• Analyze customer maintenance and repair data to uncover insights and growth opportunities.
• Lead quarterly business reviews to present performance metrics and identify strategic initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Business or related field
- 3+ years of successful experience in National Account Business Development or other customer-facing roles.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong problem-solving skills along with a high level of attention to detail
- Comfort using business intelligence (BI) software to analyze customer trends and needs
- Effective prioritization and time management with a demonstrated sense of urgency
- Sales process knowledge with solid negotiation and networking skills
- Capacity to influence others’ behavior through persuasive presentations, effective customer relationship development, facilitation, training and development
- Results-oriented, setting and pursuing aggressive goals, demonstrating a strong commitment to organizational success, and leveraging resources to accomplish his/her priorities
- Adept at grasping, understanding, and articulating divisional/company vision
- Comfortable managing under pressure and ability to successfully multitask and prioritize
- Passion to win and motivate a diverse team
- Ability to travel within region 50+%
