Job Description
• Supports the financial operations of the clinical operations service by performing foundational financial analysis, monitoring spending, and preparing reports that drive operational and strategic decision making.
• Plays an important part in helping clinical leadership understand financial performance, manage budgets, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial summaries and variance reports to support finance and clinical leadership.
• Assists in measuring financial performance against operational budgets and forecasts.
• Assists with annual budgeting processes, spending reviews, and departmental forecast updates.
• Monitors monthly spending and analyzes trends to identify potential cost-reduction opportunities.
• Provides financial insights to support decision-making by finance and operations leaders.
• Prepares graphs, dashboards, and presentation materials for clinical directors and finance leadership.
• Works closely with operations and finance leaders to gather data and ensure accurate reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

- Ability to effectively communicate at all personnel levels based on the information required at each level
- Able to maintain the utmost confidentiality and discretion with respect to dissemination of information
- Detail oriented; able to keep key personnel on task regardless of their position in the organization
- Keen sense of awareness about identifying potential challenges, risk issues, inconsistencies, and opportunities
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University in Accounting or Finance required.
- Previous experience is not required, foundational knowledge of financial reporting and analysis is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare is preferred but not required.
