Job Description

• Lead and scale a rapidly growing Revenue Cycle organization, adapting operating models to support growth, acquisitions, and increased volume. • Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for professional billing Revenue Cycle functions. • Maintain accountability for productivity, quality, compliance, and client-specific performance metrics. • Centralize ownership for end-to-end professional billing Revenue Cycle operations across assigned service lines. • Establish and maintain industry’s best practices and standardized workflows. • Serve as the primary Revenue Cycle leader supporting local market billing coordinators for Behavioral Health, RHCs, and Provider-Based Billing. • Provide guidance, escalation support, and problem-solving assistance to ensure timely claim submission, follow-up, and resolution. • Establish consistent communication and operating rhythms with market billing leaders to review performance, barriers, and improvement opportunities. • Translate enterprise Revenue Cycle strategies, policies, and standards into practical workflows for local teams. • Partner with market and operational leadership to support workflow optimization and change management. • Partner with Analytics to ensure reporting accuracy and standardized KPI definitions. • Establish governance processes for reviewing and approving Revenue Cycle build changes, payer configurations, and workflow modifications. • Monitor the operational impact of system changes and ensure rapid issue resolution to prevent revenue disruption.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management. Demonstrated leadership experience across middle- and back-end Revenue Cycle operations.
