• Providing coding and abstracting services for clients on facility same day surgery / observation and interventional radiology CPT records
• Reviewing medical records to identify pertinent diagnoses and procedures
• Ensuring appropriate DRG assignment
• Maintaining communication and contributing to a positive company image
Job Requirements
- 3 - 5 years or more of related medical coding experience
- Facility same day surgery / observation and interventional radiology experience
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPS, and CPT coding principles
- Certifications CCS, CPC or COC
