• Define strategy, evaluate and negotiate costs for equipment (non-exclusive internal and external) and site works in support of NAM ACS, FACTS and HVDC projects • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Contracts and Project Controls teams to understand technical requirements, customer expectations and timelines • Analyze project schedules and ensure supplier quotations, lead times and delivery commitments align with project milestones and critical path requirements • Manage master planning for Sourcing and ensure operational alignment across all functions within the project team • Ensure supplier assessments, supplier onboarding, and supplier qualifications are completed timely in partnership with Commodity Managers • Proactively identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect project cost, schedule and quality • Negotiate project-specific agreements for external material/equipment, subcontractors and site works where applicable • Lead and understand the firming calculation during project close-out, ensuring accurate cost validation, final commitments and financial alignment with project results • Ensure compliance with GE Grid Solutions sourcing policies
