Job Description

• Working with the IT team in developing and delivering Data Reporting capabilities in line with business needs • Taking responsibility for the management and delivery of Data Reporting projects • Undertaking development tasks as per project requirements, including: ETL, database design, SQL development and querying, process automation, building SSRS reports and building interactive Power BI dashboards • Assisting with the conceptual and practical designs for Reporting processes and infrastructure • Writing documentation including technical guides, end user guides and data / logic flow diagrams • Continually improving on the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver in line with project technical requirements • Carrying out other activities as necessary to ensure the continued operation of reporting platform and infrastructure

Job Requirements

About 5 years of experience in Microsft TSQL and Report Developer role
Experience with data warehouses / Data marts supporting business requirements, BI report development, and report analysis.
3 years of experience in the financial services industry would be preferred, but is not essential.
Demonstrated competency in using Microsft T-SQL, including creating data definitions, developing data extraction queries, implementing analytics processes, writing stored procedures and functions, and an understanding of efficient query design, including the correct application of indexes
Exposure to the principles and processes involved in ETL of data into a database from database and non-database sources
Experience in creating SSRS reports and interactive dashboards in Power BI
Ability to think critically about a business problem and develop analytics methodologies to deliver a solution
Some experience in creating user and systems documentation, including flow diagrams, which is desirable but not essential
The ability to work well within a team while managing your own work in an autonomous manner
Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders within the business units and manage and prioritise competing demands.
