Job Description

• The Business Analyst Manager at Gratia acts as the strategic partner for our clients. • Lead through leverage, providing high-level strategy and project structure, while a team of pre-vetted analysts handles the execution. • Ensure project success by mentoring your team, maintaining high quality standards, and serving as a trusted advisor to global clients. • Take full ownership of large strategic projects such as fundraising campaigns, global product launches, and business transformations. • Provide high-level architecture for projects, focusing on market entry strategies, operational optimisation, and strategic financial modelling. • Own final deliverables and give feedback, ensuring they meet Gratia’s high standards for depth, accuracy, and visual clarity. • Manage and oversee junior analysts, defining scopes, and mentoring them to ensure high-quality delivery. • Drive project momentum by communicating complex findings through clear, honest, and simple updates to all stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience, with 2 years as a Manager or Senior Manager preferably from MBB, Big 4 or other strategy firm.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and build long-term trusting relationships.
  • Mastery of transforming abstract or messy information into structured, actionable business solutions.
  • Mastery of managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional workstreams in a remote environment.
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently, ideally with 1–3 years of experience as a solo contractor or independent consultant.
  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering (MBA preferred).

Benefits

  • Flexible Freelance Model: This is a long-term contract/freelance role designed for independent professionals who want the freedom of private practice without the isolation of working alone. We offer both part-time and full-time engagement options.
  • Experience-Based Rates: While our standard benchmark for this role is $100/hour, we recognize that exceptional expertise comes in many forms. We are committed to offering a rate that reflects your specific depth of experience and are open to negotiation for the right strategic partner.
  • Portfolio Growth: Elevate your portfolio by working directly with leaders at innovative organizations like USA Today Co., Endeavor, and New York Life.
  • Managed Support: Leverage our talent community to amplify your output without the administrative headaches of managing your own staffing.
  • A Bridge to Independence: Transition into high-tier independent consulting with a steady flow of quality projects and the backing of a world-class professional community.
