• Lead operational accounting functions including payroll accounting, benefits, 401(k) accounting and administration, equity administration, accounts payable, expense reimbursements, and operating expense accounting • Own the month-end close for assigned areas, ensuring accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant reporting • Develop and maintain accounting policies, documentation, reconciliations, and review procedures across operational areas, with a focus on ensuring timely high-risk account reconciliations • Coordinate with external tax advisors to support corporate tax compliance and audit inquiries • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to strengthen accounting workflows • Lead and mentor a high-performing operational accounting team, creating clarity around ownership, expectations, and development paths • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and department leaders to ensure aligned budgeting, spend visibility, and operational accuracy
