Job Description

• Answer inbound calls, emails, and chats from patients regarding appointments, insurance, billing, and general inquiries. • Schedule and reschedule patient appointments using our electronic medical record (EMR) system. • Verify insurance information and assist with pre-authorizations when necessary. • Handle patient billing inquiries and guide them through payment options. • Escalate complex concerns to the appropriate departments while maintaining a warm and professional tone. • Ensure all patient data is handled in accordance with HIPAA standards. • Maintain accurate documentation of interactions in real time.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year experience in a healthcare customer service or administrative support role.
  • Proficiency in EMR platforms (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth, Cerner) is preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote setting.
  • Reliable internet and a quiet home workspace.
