Job Description
• Build and lead the legal operations function from the ground up, establishing the operating model, roadmap, KPIs, SLAs, and performance dashboards that drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Own and optimize the legal technology ecosystem, including CLM, e-billing, matter management, entity management, knowledge management, and workflow systems.
• Lead legals AI strategy, including use-case identification, governance standards, responsible deployment, and ongoing evaluation.
• Architect scalable data infrastructure (taxonomy, metadata, integrations) to enable analytics, reporting, forecasting, and AI-enabled performance.
• Redesign and standardize end-to-end legal workflows, implement centralized intake and triage, and strengthen documentation hygiene and audit readiness.
• Build knowledge management systems, templates, playbooks, and self-service capabilities to improve efficiency and business enablement.
• Drive cross-functional operational alignment with Finance, IT, Security, Compliance, HR, and business teams.
Job Requirements
- 5-10+ years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, corporate operations, or related strategic roles.
- Hands-on experience implementing legal technology platforms (CLM, e-billing, workflow/matter management systems).
- Well-informed viewpoints on how AI can transform the corporate legal function.
- Strong program and project management capabilities.
- Experience building processes, systems, or operational functions from inception.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Experience in high-growth or evolving environments preferred.
