Job Description

• Writes several AP-style news stories daily; creates live streams; adds videos to stories • Subsequently develops engaging social and push alert suggestions • Utilizes analytics to track trends in daily decision-making • Copyedits digital stories from other team members • Seeks out original news stories ahead of the competition • Communicates effectively with digital teams across the company to incorporate content at a station level • Attends and contributes to editorial meetings

Job Requirements

  • A background in journalism and communications with strong writing skills preferred
  • A solid understanding of social media and analytics
  • Having strong news judgement
  • Knowledge and use of effective SEO practices
  • 2 years of newsroom and digital content producing experience preferred
