Job Description
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of AI tools, technologies, and software packages
• Optimize the enterprise content development operating model
• Train and coach L&D team members on effective use of AI tools
• Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks for L&D content
• Lead pilot programs to test new AI capabilities and learning modalities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Learning Solutions, Tech@Lilly, and business area L&D
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human Resources, or related field
- 5+ years of experience leading learning experience design and content creation for large global audiences
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with AI tools for learning (generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, AI-powered learning and authoring platforms)
- Experience meeting compliance and regulatory requirements for training content in regulated industries, including GXP environments
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, visual design, and content development methodologies
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques, agents, and guidelines for working with large language models
- Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI principles
