Job Description

• Provide daily leadership for our North American construction teams. • Contribute to site evaluations and make recommendations for site selections • Lead multiple construction teams in building greenfield data center deployments, modular construction projects and infrastructure upgrades • Oversee expansion and renovation projects across the respective region • Assist the Predevelopment team with design teams to create master development programs for site(s) • Oversee site plans to achieve time, budget, and quality standards in a predictable fashion • Oversee design/construction, commissioning services, and project cost estimates • Develop plans for data center deployments and communicate cost, schedule, plans with internal stakeholders • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for new and existing build outs • Key contributing member on pursuit teams in sales pursuits • Create cost effective rapid development deals for Hyperscale data center deployments • Provide regular updates and report on progress and areas for further review by senior management • Anticipate and resolve project issues and scheduling difficulties • Create & build relationships that enhance our ability to be an industry leader • Provide leadership to team members in a manner that enables them to achieve goals • Provide direction and support to all direct reports to ensure all activities are aligned to the company strategy • Work with the internal team to enhance project management processes and protocols • Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical/Architectural Engineering or other related field
  • 10+ years of experience within mission critical facilities
  • Experience in the REIT/Data Center industry
  • Extensive experience with management of MEP trades
  • Must have a proven history which displays strong leadership skills, deep practical engineering knowledge, and a proven track record for timely project delivery, project management, cost control, and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Must be a capable, proven team player that both fosters and operates well within internal and external team environments
  • Keen planning skills along with the ability to lead through influence and to be a proactive partner
  • Able to solve problems at a tactical and functional level
  • Travel is dependent on current projects at that given time
