Job Description
• You will be responsible for month-end close activities including generating journal entries for Revenue and COGS activity, completing reconciliations, and performing fluctuation analysis ensuring GAAP and IFRS compliance.
• You will be responsible for pulling KPI’s and performing internal controls in accordance with SOX requirements.
• You will assist with system implementations or enhancements, focusing on creating a seamless QTC process.
• You'll identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the quote to cash and COGS areas, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA is a plus.
- 5-8+ years of experience in quote-to-cash or a similar finance role with a passion for delivering excellence.
- Experience in a public company environment with a focus on month-end responsibilities (creating journal entries, flux analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations).
- NetSuite or RevPro experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the capacity to identify issues and implement solutions proactively.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition based on the requirements of ASC 606 (US GAAP) and IFRS 15.
- Experience working with COGS (cost of goods sold or cost of revenue) and margin.
