• Provides consulting, analytics, testing, training, and development services to support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) • Develops and implements novel digital quality measures (dQMs) for hospitals and other healthcare settings • Access and analyze complex data from various sources • Conduct analyses in Python; interpret, summarize, and present findings to relevant stakeholders, including technical, clinical, and product teams • Conduct clinical and operational data analyses using HL7® FHIR®-based data • Perform data-quality checks, develop materials, review documentation, troubleshoot issues, and report results related to FHIR–EHR mapping, patient-identity matching, encounter reconciliation, and clinical-data standardization using HL7 FHIR and other healthcare terminologies • Communicate analytic advice and statistical methodology to clients, management, and staff • Maintain public-health expertise and stay abreast of industry changes and trends • Develop and deliver trainings, project updates, and presentations on NHSN work
