Job Description

• Prepare instrumentation engineering/design deliverables including: • Instrument Index • Instrument Data Sheets • Installation Details • Instrument Location Plans • Wiring Diagrams and Loop Diagrams • Develop control systems (DCS/PLC) data sheets and design documents: • I/O Lists • Process Control Narratives • Graphic Sketches • Cause & Effect Diagrams • Alarm Rationalization • Coordinate with third-party control system vendors and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). • Develop and review P&IDs for various projects. • Select and size I&C components such as valves, thermowells, orifice plates, and relief valves. • Collaborate across disciplines to develop level sketches and ensure design integration. • Review vendor documentation and provide technical recommendations. • Mentor junior engineers and support team development. • Ensure compliance with company and project site safety policies. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls design, preferably in data center or industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and tools, including REVIT.
  • Strong understanding of control systems (DCS/PLC), instrumentation technologies, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external vendors.
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to delivering solutions that meet technical and safety requirements.
