Job Description
• Serve as the Professional Corporation (PC) Owner for Peregrine’s clinical practice entities.
• Establish clear clinical protocols, decision frameworks, and escalation pathways for scenarios involving partners, providers, and patients, including crisis protocols and legal escalations (Board of Nursing, subpoenas, partner executives, etc.).
• Partner with Market Operations leadership to ensure operational teams understand and execute basic clinical protocols, especially around crisis and risk situations.
• Lead the development and enforcement of standardized appointment templates, scheduling practices, and clinical workflows to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality of care.
• Design and implement peer review, clinical quality initiatives, and compliance processes to meet regulatory standards and support program growth.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to evaluate new care models, scope of services, and regulatory structures to support sustainable growth.
• Develop scalable frameworks for supervising physician coverage across markets to reduce cost structure without compromising quality or compliance.
• Represent Peregrine in external presentations, partner webinars, and conferences, traveling to build relationships with partner executives and clinical teams.
• Gather clinical protocols and processes from partner organizations, then synthesize and establish Peregrine Standard Protocols to be applied consistently across markets.
• Serve as a bridge between clinical and operational teams, ensuring alignment between frontline care delivery and organizational strategy.
• Participate as a member of Peregrine’s leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, program design, and growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to evaluate clinical outcomes, identify gaps, and inform continuous improvement efforts.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of high-performing clinical staff, including setting clear expectations for scheduling, documentation, and time management best practices.
• Provide direct patient care with a focus on behavioral health and MAT programs.
• Backfill clinical coverage as needed during provider absences or temporary staffing gaps.
• Model high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with Peregrine’s mission and standards.
Job Requirements
- MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical license.
- Board certification in Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty with behavioral health experience.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in community health, FQHC, or MAT settings.
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling clinical programs (e.g., CoCM, value-based models, MAT).
- Prior leadership experience within a healthcare organization strongly preferred.
- Eligible to own or serve as physician of record for a Professional Corporation in relevant states.
- Strong understanding of clinical compliance, telehealth regulations, and operational integration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust across clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Willingness to travel regularly for presentations, partner engagement, and leadership visibility.
