Job Description
• Study and transform data science prototypes
• Solve complex problems with multilayered data sets, and optimize existing machine learning libraries and frameworks
• Design machine learning systems
• Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
• Develop machine learning applications according to requirements
• Run machine learning tests and experiments
• Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
• Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
• Optimize machine learning algorithms for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Stay updated with the latest machine learning techniques and technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to apply them in our context
• Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to build efficient data pipelines for training and deploying machine learning models
• Monitor and maintain the performance of deployed models, and iterate on them to continuously improve results
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a professional environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
- At least one year of experience with cloud computing services, particularly AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and SageMaker
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on practical business applications
- Experience with front end application development to support presentation of ML applications
- Experience in handling large datasets and developing scalable machine learning solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
- A continuous learning mindset, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI.
- Experience with version control tools like Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
