Job Description

• Carry the ball in bringing Ashby to the big leagues by optimizing existing infrastructure and building new capabilities. • Own projects end-to-end and think about how our entire team interacts with infrastructure. • Implement infrastructure to support an event-driven architecture and data warehouse. • Help developers ship features fast through canary deploys, gradual rollouts, and feature flags. • Ensure communication with external services supports retries and circuit-breakers. • Collaborate with the business and engineering team to define SLOs and implement corresponding SLIs. • Contribute to a seamless hiring experience for our customers by proposing solutions rooted in technical knowledge.

Job Requirements

4+ years of experience as a full-time software engineer or SRE.
Experience debugging and resolving issues in production.
Ability to optimize tooling for security and privacy of customer data.
Familiarity with our tech stack: TypeScript (frontend & backend), Node.js, React, Apollo GraphQL, Postgres, Redis.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) and CI/CD tools.
Strong knowledge of application programming and infrastructure as code practices.
