Job Description
• Manage user access by assigning roles and permissions based on operational needs and security policies
• Administer and optimize key components across the Microsoft 365 platform, including managing site collections, security, and feature configuration within SharePoint Online
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, implement updates, and provide documentation for site functionality
• Serve as a key escalation point for the IT Help Desk, addressing incidents specific to SharePoint and M365 advanced features
• Maintain and optimize security configurations, including managing user accounts, groups, and licenses across the broader M365 ecosystem
• Administer external sharing policies to secure collaboration and data access
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and governance documentation to support secure and compliant site management, including governing the use, storage, and distribution of sensitive data
• Research, implement, and maintain compliance across SharePoint Online and supporting Microsoft platforms, including ensuring compliance with security standards
• Assist with compliance-related activities, including internal and external audits and evidence collection using tools like Microsoft Purview
• Lead the development and automation of web-based solutions and complex business processes using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI)
• Design and deploy Power Apps solutions to enhance user interaction and data collection
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot critical Power Automate workflows that support mission-essential business applications, ensuring reliability and performance
• Utilize Power BI for creating reports and dashboards from M365/SharePoint data
• Lead the full development lifecycle (design, rigorous testing, and phased deployment) of new solutions within the SharePoint environment
Job Requirements
- US Citizen
- 3-5 years of demonstrated, hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment supporting the federal government, with a strong focus on SharePoint Online
- Previous experience supporting a federal government contractor or the federal government directly
- Proven expertise in developing, administering, and integrating solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of modern security concepts, including least privilege access and conditional access policies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to contribute to formal policy writing and technical documentation
- Demonstrable ability to read, interpret, and execute technical configurations based on established security control standards (e.g., NIST 800-171 and ISO 27000) preferred
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., SharePoint, Power Platform, or Security Administrator Associate) preferred
- Familiarity with the security and governance model of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Intune, and Purview preferred
- Experience with implementing and maintaining AzureDevOps preferred
