Job Description
• Serve as the primary IT liaison for assigned business units, building strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Understand business processes and day-to-day challenges to identify technology needs and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in the development of business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for IT solutions.
• Facilitate regular touchpoints with business units to discuss IT service performance, upcoming initiatives, and pain points.
• Lead a small team of technologists to effectively manage, deliver and support an applications portfolio which is aligned to business needs and strategy.
• Partner with IT teams to ensure business requirements are clearly communicated, prioritized, and delivered effectively.
• Support project managers and technical teams during project execution to align outcomes with business expectations.
• Monitor IT service performance and escalate issues when service levels are not met.
• Help coordinate user acceptance testing, training, and deployment activities for new solutions.
• Effectively oversee and manage the relevant controls environment applicable to the applications portfolio.
• Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language and ensure clear communication across stakeholders.
• Provide updates to business units on IT initiatives, status reports, and issue resolution.
• Advocate for business needs within IT while maintaining alignment with enterprise standards and governance.
• Gather feedback from users and business leaders to identify areas for process or service improvement.
• Partner with IT leadership to recommend and operationalize enhancements that increase efficiency, reduce manual work, or improve customer experience.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT, business analysis, or IT service delivery.
- Familiarity with ITIL or IT service management frameworks.
- Strong understanding of business processes and ability to link them to technology solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and supporting IT project delivery.
- Collaboration: Builds effective relationships with business users and IT colleagues.
- Problem-Solving: Analyzes issues, proposes solutions, and supports implementation.
- Communication: Effectively translates between technical and business perspectives.
- Customer Focus: Ensures IT services and solutions meet user needs and improve business outcomes.
