Job Description
Job Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications**: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred (Associate’s Degree required) AND 3+ years of accounting experience, OR and equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience working in a clinical research site or CRO environment is strongly preferred. Experience with general ledger account and project budget reconciliations and journal entry preparation is required. Experience working with Advarra’s Clinical Conductor CTMS a plus. Previous experience at a clinical research site invoicing sponsors and CROs is a plus.
- Required Skills:**
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook), QuickBooks, and web applications
- Typing proficiency (40+ wpm)
- Strong math proficiency
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to work independently as well as with co-workers, subjects, managers, and external customers
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and adapt to changes in workloads and priorities
- Ability to be professional, respectful of others, self-motivated, and exemplify a strong work ethic.
- A high degree of integrity and dependability
- Ability to work under minimal supervision, identify problems and implement solutions
