Job Description

• Develop and execute global transportation sourcing strategies across parcel, 3PL, LTL/FTL, intermodal, ocean, air, brokerage, and last-mile, translating enterprise strategy into regional execution plans. • Lead competitive sourcing events (RFPs/RFQs), carrier and 3PL evaluations, network optimization initiatives, and award decisions to deliver year-over-year savings and working-capital benefits. • Negotiate and structure complex transportation contracts, including MSAs, rate agreements, fuel mechanisms, accessorials, SLAs, KPIs, and liability terms aligned with operational realities. • Manage carrier, broker, and 3PL performance, using scorecards, QBRs, and performance guardrails to ensure service, cost, and compliance outcomes are realized in the P&L. • Analyze freight markets and cost drivers, acting as a market “sensor” to provide pricing, capacity, and risk insights to leadership. • Partner cross-functionally with regional operations and stakeholders to balance cost, service, compliance, and risk across a global or multi-region transportation network.

Job Requirements

  • Proven procurement and category management experience in third-party transportation and logistics, supporting global or multi-region networks.
  • Deep transportation domain expertise across parcel, LTL/FTL, intermodal, ocean, air freight, brokerage, last-mile, and courier services.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills, with experience delivering repeatable, sustainable value—not one-time wins.
  • Solid understanding of freight economics and market dynamics, including capacity trends, rate indices, and cost structures.
  • Experience with transportation systems and tools, such as TMS, parcel analytics, and freight audit and payment platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field (professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CSCMP/SCPro preferred).

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with your level of experience.
  • Generous paid time off and holidays to support your personal well-being.
  • Remote work option to support a healthy work–life balance.
  • Comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans designed for your future.
  • Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth within a global organization.
