Job Description

• Own your book of business by executing sales plans that grow revenue and profitability • Turn opportunities into orders by understanding customer needs, interpreting technical requirements, and providing the right solutions • Prospect and develop new accounts through research, outreach, and relationship building • Prepare and deliver quotes, manage orders, and communicate timelines clearly to customers • Grow accounts by understanding buying history, recommending related or new products, and explaining technical features in plain language • Ask smart, operational-level questions to ensure customers are ordering what they actually need, then tap into DCS engineering expertise when needed • Partner with regional Life Cycle sales teams to jointly win and expand territory business • Work target lists through calls, emails, and creative outreach to open new doors • Coordinate with DCS warehousing teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time • Keep everything organized and moving by updating activity and orders in Salesforce

Job Requirements

  • You bring 2+ years of experience selling industrial parts and have a track record of hitting (or beating) your sales goals
  • You’re known as someone who follows through, people trust you to deliver on what you say
  • You aren’t afraid to pick up the phone and talk to customers, and you don’t rely on one-and-done outreach, you build thoughtful strategies to successfully engage new accounts
  • You focus on creating real value for customers and building long-term, trusted relationships
  • You enjoy sharing insights from the field and customer feedback to help improve and evolve DCS’s offerings
  • You pick up new systems quickly and aren’t afraid to suggest smarter, more efficient ways of working
  • You have strong business instincts and understand what customers need to confidently approve projects
  • You’re a true team player who collaborates with peers and leverages collective strengths to better serve customers
