Job Description

• Executes and/or manages projects in support of pricing insurance business • Uses best practices to determine appropriate analysis and performs complex analysis • Provides thought and/or technical leadership • Plans, implements, manages, and/or contributes on moderate to high complex projects • Communicates results to management and non-technical users • Responsible for data quality used for actuarial and statistical services • Leverages understanding of insurance business in the creation of business strategies • May mentor and/or supervise less experienced talent

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in related field of study such as actuarial science, math/applied math, statistics/applied statistics
3-5 years of property and casualty pricing/modeling experience
Pursuing actuarial designation
Advanced knowledge in the use and ability to learn a wide variety of tools, data sources and computer applications
Experience in using, modifying and building predictive models
Ability to code in one or more programming languages
Advanced product, price, risk management and insurance regulation knowledge
High level project management skills
