Job Description
• Prepare, pre-flight and package files for printers.
• Retouch and color-correct photos.
• Manage and delegate incoming press requests.
• Identify and correct potential print problems.
• Provide graphic support to members of the design team.
• Make minor copy edits to existing designs.
• Manage library of graphic assets.
Job Requirements
- 3-7 years of relevant experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of pre-flight and prepress workflow
- Expert knowledge of Adobe CS, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Comprehensive knowledge of design for print
- Willingness to work long hours and weekends
- Ability to turn projects around quickly
- Ability to adhere to USPS regulations for mailers
- Exceptional attention to detail; please include the word “penguin” in your cover letter
- Strong, responsive written and verbal communication
- Flexible, poised-under-pressure attitude
- Ability to juggle multiple projects on tight deadlines and adjust when directions shift
