Job Description
• Establish emerging market presence and distribution channels to sell new products and solutions via consulting partnerships
• Identify, pursue, and close new employer sales opportunities within assigned markets and industry segments
• Execute outreach strategies to generate qualified leads and strengthen the employer sales pipeline
• Participate in RFP responses, finalist presentations, and contract negotiations
• Build and maintain relationships with key consulting and brokerage firms to drive awareness and advocacy for the company’s offerings
• Serve as a resource for consultants by providing education on product capabilities, differentiators, and market positioning
• Coordinate with internal marketing and leadership teams to support joint events, webinars, and partnership opportunities
• Engage directly with employer HR and benefits leaders to assess their needs and propose tailored pharmacy and benefits solutions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal implementation, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction
• Support strategic renewal and expansion discussions as assigned
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics within pharmacy and employee benefits
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to elevate brand presence and credibility
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, but advanced degree preferred
- minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 12 years and a Master’s degree
- 15+ years of B2B sales or account management experience, preferably within healthcare, pharmacy benefits, or employee benefits industries
- Proven ability to develop relationships with employer decision-makers and benefits consultants
- Strong understanding of pharmacy benefits, claims processing, and employee benefits administration
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Consultative selling approach with the ability to tailor solutions to employer needs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with CRM systems and data-driven sales tools
