Role Description

We are hiring a Marketing Programs Manager to execute marketing initiatives across content, events, and campaigns. This role focuses on turning plans into launched programs that support pipeline generation and brand credibility.

  • Coordinate campaigns across email, social, web, and conferences while ensuring projects launch on time and are measurable.
  • Events are one channel within the role alongside content publishing and marketing automation.
  • This is a high ownership role for someone who moves quickly, thinks in systems, and uses AI to work smarter rather than harder.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign and Program Execution
    • Build and run marketing campaigns across email, web, and social channels.
    • Create landing pages and workflows in HubSpot and Wordpress.
    • Maintain the marketing calendar and coordinate deadlines among stakeholders.
    • Track performance and provide reporting on engagement and pipeline impact.
    • Assist partnership marketing initiatives.
  • Events
    • Research conferences based on audience fit and expected value.
    • Coordinate registration, logistics, and confirmations.
    • Launch event landing pages and follow up campaigns.
    • Partner with Sales on outreach and follow through.
    • Track event performance and results.
  • Content Operations
    • Proofread and prepare content for publishing.
    • Schedule and publish social and email content.
    • Assist with AI supported content drafting and editing.
    • Manage press releases and award submissions.
    • Create lightweight supporting assets such as slides, simple graphics, and short video edits.

How You Will Work

  • Own execution and follow through on marketing programs.
  • Balance speed with organization and accuracy.
  • Use AI tools daily to improve output quality and efficiency - beyond chat, utilize AI to build repeatable processes, live dashboards, and actionable insights.
  • Build repeatable workflows rather than one off efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing leadership.

What Success Looks Like in the First Six Months

  • Understanding of our industry, market, and target buyers.
  • Campaigns launch consistently and on schedule.
  • Events produce measurable pipeline activity.
  • Marketing calendar is proactive, organized, and predictable.
  • Published content is impactful with no spelling or grammatical errors.
  • Ownership of role, including utilizing tools (such as AI) to efficiently manage tasks.

Qualifications

  • Strong initiative. Self-starters will succeed here.
  • Three to five years experience in marketing, campaign operations, or content execution.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Comfortable handling multiple deadlines at once.
  • Detail oriented editor and communicator.
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing efforts.
  • Practical experience using AI tools in a professional workflow such as drafting content, editing copy, summarizing research, building campaign assets, or improving operational efficiency.

Technical Skills

  • HubSpot or similar marketing automation platform, including landing page creation and email workflow setup.
  • Email workflow setup.
  • Familiarity with AI content tools and ability to refine outputs for brand voice and accuracy.
  • Basic video or visual asset editing.
  • Spreadsheet reporting.

Nice to Have

  • B2B SaaS experience.
  • Event coordination experience.
  • Copyediting and proofing experience.
  • Interest in sustainability.
  • Exposure to partnership or co-marketing programs.

Our Expectations Around AI

At Greenplaces, AI is a core part of how we work. We expect this role to use AI tools daily to increase speed, improve quality, and scale marketing output.

  • Using AI to research audiences, keywords, and content opportunities.
  • Drafting and refining email, web, and social copy.
  • Summarizing research and turning insights into campaigns.
  • Building structured workflows and repeatable processes.
  • Editing and improving AI outputs to meet brand and quality standards.

We are not looking for someone who experiments occasionally with AI tools. We are looking for someone who has integrated AI into their professional workflow and understands how to use it responsibly, strategically, and efficiently.

Strong judgment, editing ability, and brand sensitivity are essential. AI accelerates the work, but human ownership and accountability remain critical.

What We Offer

  • Work that directly contributes to climate action and responsible business practices.
  • A mission driven, certified B Corp culture that cares deeply about environmental impact and how we operate internally.
  • A scaling startup environment where your ideas can quickly turn into real programs and visible results.
  • High ownership and real autonomy rather than rigid corporate structure.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Equity participation.
  • Hybrid flexibility.
  • Annual team retreats and in person gatherings.

Greenplaces is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
